Nice to meet you.

I am an interdisciplinary artist who weaves together science, psychology, and history. With a passion for studying various ecosystems and biota, my work investigates both the exquisite intelligence of ecology and the causes and ramifications of over-consumption. I firmly believe that artists are a crucial ally when dealing with pressing global issues.

I like to connect with people. This often manifests through my travels, my writing, and my teaching; this is where I create and collect stories. Other times, I connect by working with organizations such as the Denver Botanic Gardens, Human Rights Watch (Chicago IL), and the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists (with Weinberg Newton Gallery, Chicago IL).

As an artist, my work affords me the pleasure of facilitating connections between people and this planet. These scents are one of the works I am most proud of, as these bottles of the planet’s memories cannot be contained by gallery walls. They are meant to be shared and collectively experienced.
